Wild & Present: A Mexico Yoga Adventure Retreat
An adventure yoga retreat with The Travel Yogi
January 22–29, 2028 | Baja, Mexico
For eight days and seven nights, we’ll explore Baja together through yoga, adventure, nature, and the practice of being fully here for all of it.
We’ll practice yoga overlooking wild landscapes. Explore Todos Santos. Hike sand dunes along the Pacific. Surf and spend time on the beach. Glamp along Magdalena Bay. Kayak through protected waters. And, because we’ll be there during whale season, we’ll head onto the water for the chance to encounter gray whales and their calves in the wild.
But underneath all of the adventure is something very simple:
Be here for your life. That’s the heart of Wild & Present.
This is an invitation to get out of our routines, put down some of the noise we carry around every day, and remember what it feels like to be completely immersed in where we are.
To move. Breathe. Explore. Laugh. Try something new. To look around and think, well damn, I’m here.

Be The Breath
A Monthly Pranayama Class at Be Here Yoga
By understanding how the breath and mind•body are intimately connected, we learn how to better navigate our environments. When the breath is irregular, erratic, and restricted, this translates into the same qualities in our mind•body. When the breath flows freely and easily, the mind•body follows. We can always change the way we breathe which will in turn influence our mood.
In this class, students will learn and practice numerous Pranayama (breathing) techniques to meet themselves where they are, to better support their nervous system, and understand the benefits of a consistent Pranayama practice.

Inner Wisdom: A Healing Breathwork Journey
A special offering at be here yoga
Healing Breathwork is a powerful practice that uses conscious breathing paired with an intentionally curated arc of music to help quiet the thinking mind and reconnect with the wisdom of the body. By breathing in a deeper, more intentional way, we create the conditions for emotional release, nervous system regulation, insight, and a deeper connection to ourselves. As the mind begins to soften, the body is given an opportunity to release stored tension, emotions, and energetic patterns that may no longer serve us. Participants may experience physical sensations, emotions, memories, profound relaxation, personal insight, or a greater sense of connection and clarity.
The invitation is simple: show up with curiosity rather than expectations. Instead of trying to control, analyze, or fix anything, allow whatever arises to be present without judgment. Whether the experience feels subtle or profound, the breath becomes a bridge between the conscious and unconscious mind, creating space for healing, integration, and transformation to unfold naturally. No two experiences are alike, and there is nothing to force or achieve. The practice is simply an invitation to breathe deeply, listen inwardly, and trust your own inner wisdom to guide the process.
